Start your Own Troupe

If you dont live in Adelaide and think flagging could be a great thing for your city, let us give you some guidance as to how to successfully set up your own flagging troupe.

Flagging is a world wide culture but more relegated to the US at the moment. Flagmania members now also live in Sydney and we travel around the country flagging where we can.

Our aim is to host tie dye flagging weekends in 2007 to inspire and spread the flagging artform. We are especially interested in seeing other troupes setup in other Australian states. Flagmania will travel to perform in your state. We only ask that your group assist our travel and accomodation costs as our valuable knowledge is not pulled out of thin air.

Flagging will increase attendance to your venue, can transform and lift the spirit of any parade, show or event!

Flagging is a great exercise and some members report that it has helped overcome personal problems by getting their minds off themselves and into healthy team community efforts.

Setting up a troupe was a steep learning curve for us and we are one of about 3 troupes in the world. Our formula for success is simple but takes consistant teamwork to make it happen.
